The Jasmine plant has the Latin name 'Trachelospermum Jasminoïdes' but is better known as Star Jasmine or Tuscan Jasmine. It is a fantastic evergreen climbing plant with many good characteristics. For example, it has beautiful dark green leaves all year round, which sometimes take on a red, bronze-like colour in winter. But the most wonderful aspect of this plant are its beautiful fragrant white flowers. From spring onwards, it grows white, star-shaped flowers that spread a delicious scent, one that is often used in perfumes as well.
Care Tuscan Jasmine is a real climber, which is why this plant is delivered together with a bamboo stick, considering it needs some support when climbing. However, Jasmine can be used not only as a climber, but also as a flowering ground cover. The plant prefers full sun or partial shade and needs well-drained soil. Therefore, water Jasmine regularly, especially in summer. Although Jasmine is hardy to -10 degrees Celsius, it is advisable to cover the plant's pot during severe frosts.
Size The plant has a height of 110-120cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
